When I first started on my journey with Marisa, my goals were to regain my digestive health, as well as heal my thyroid. Throughout the six-month program, my eyes were opened to many different tools I never knew were available to me for emotional and physical support. With her guidance, we explored exercises such as yoga, meditation, and journaling for improved overall well-being. As a stay-at-home mom who just started a business, my life was becoming a whirlwind and my time management, diet, and well-being were being compromised.  After finishing a six month program with Mindful Living, I can happily say that I have been outfitted with the tools and mindset to plan, prioritize and practice self-care.  Working with Marisa was wonderful.  She has a very calm demeanor and listens without judgement.  She helped me recognize the areas that needed addressing (some not so obvious),  taught me the techniques to organize my days, helped me with meal planning and reminded me to let go of my ideal of perfection and take baby steps towards my goals.  At the end of my program, Marisa reminded me of all of my accomplishments in the previous 6 months and I felt so proud of the changes I had made and what I had achieved.  She didn’t do it for me, I did it for myself with her guidance and support, which left me with a roadmap to continue on a better path.

l went to Marisa looking for direction in improving my eating habits.  I am an active and overall healthy person, but have struggled with self-control when it comes to food.  After 3 months of meetings with Marisa every 2 weeks, I feel so much more aware of the reasons why I eat how I eat.  Marisa helped me understand what healthy eating is, and gave me strategies for being mindful about how to approach my hunger.  She also worked with me on identifying areas of my life that contribute to stress.  Marisa is supportive and a good listener, but will also nudge you to succeed.  I really feel that she has helped me a lot, and I am super grateful!  Highly recommend.
